What You'll Do
  • Conduct surveys and identify treatments for pests and vermin that pose a public health risk.
  • Carry out inspections for the safe disposal of discarded hypodermic needles and other sharps.
  • Manage the baiting of highway sewers and drainage inspection chambers.
  • Respond to enquiries and requests efficiently, ensuring excellent customer service.
  • Keep accurate records and produce written reports on your activities.
  • Advise residents and businesses on pest control measures to promote safety and prevention.
  • Handle pesticides and safety equipment responsibly and safely.
What We're Looking For
  • Expertise in pest control, especially rodent control in sewer systems.
  • A Royal Society for the Promotion of Health Level 2 Certificate or equivalent.
  • Strong communication skills to effectively engage with the public and your team.
  • Good organisational abilities to manage your own workload efficiently.
