Pest Control Technician

Pay: £20.55 per hour
Hours: 35 hours per week
Working Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 4:00pm
Flexibility Required: Evenings and weekends may be required
Location: Local authority / field-based role
Driving Licence: Essential

About the Role

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Pest Control Technician to join our team, delivering a high‑quality pest control service across residential, commercial and public‑sector sites. This is a hands‑on role requiring professionalism, technical knowledge and excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Carry out pest control treatments and inspections in line with legislation and best practice
  • Identify pest infestations and recommend appropriate control measures
  • Complete detailed reports, treatment records and risk assessments
  • Provide advice and guidance to customers on pest prevention
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety standards at all times
  • Maintain equipment, vehicles and materials responsibly
  • Represent the organisation professionally while working independently in the field
Essential Requirements
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Relevant pest control qualifications (e.g. RSPH Level 2 or equivalent)
  • Proven experience working as a Pest Control Technician
  • Strong knowledge of pest control legislation and safe treatment methods
  • Good communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage workloads effectively
  • Flexibility to work evenings and weekends when required
