Job summary

Outwood Academy Ormesby, part of Outwood Grange Academies Trust, is seeking a PLC Coordinator to lead the Personalised Learning Centre and deliver targeted courses for identified student cohorts to secure necessary qualifications.

The role requires strong collaboration with external services, mentoring, and the ability to remove barriers to learning. 35 hours per week, term time plus 5 days, with a salary range of £23,527.91 to £24,302.90 (Grade 6 SCP 12-14).

Qualifications

• Essential: experience in a school environment working with vulnerable students.
• Strong communication, time management and organisation skills.
• Ability to develop programmes of work to build self-esteem and confidence.

Responsibilities

• Identify student cohorts for the alternative curriculum and deliver relevant courses.
• Act as a single point of contact for accessing specialist support services.
• Develop SMART action plans to remove barriers to learning and mentor students.
• Support pupils toward further education, apprenticeships, or employment.
