This is a part-time, on-site Personal Trainer role based at Unique Health Clubs in Durham. The Personal Trainer will design and deliver individualised and small-group training programs, conduct fitness assessments, and guide members in safe and effective use of equipment. Daily tasks include leading workouts, demonstrating proper exercise techniques, monitoring member progress, and providing motivation and feedback. The role also involves generating leads and selling personal training sessions as well as gym memberships to prospective clients.
A successful candidate is also expected to deliver classes, lead gym inductions for new members and advise members on basic nutrition and healthy lifestyle habits while also collaborating with other trainers and staff to support club programs, and maintaining a clean, organised training environment.
The Personal Trainer will actively contribute to company social media platforms, member engagement, including possible support for corporate bootcamps and special fitness events.
