Saffery Champness in Leeds is seeking a School Leaver Personal Tax Trainee (ATT/CTA) for a September 2027 start. The programme welcomes ambitious school leavers and career changers, with structured study toward the ATT/CTA qualification and three years and three months of development.

You’ll gain hands-on experience with high net worth private clients and benefit from Kaplan-led tuition, with potential AAT Level 4 exemptions.

Qualifications

• Ambitious school leavers and career changers welcome.
• No prior work experience required.
• ATT/CTA pathway studied with Kaplan; AAT Level 4 exemptions may apply.

Responsibilities

• Assist with tax returns, computations and compliance filings.
• Handle financial data to support reporting and submissions.
• Use specialist software to deliver high-quality tax work.
• Carry out technical research and advisory support for clients.
• Prepare reports and documentation for senior colleagues.
• Build relationships with clients and colleagues across sectors.
