Meraki Talent are partnered with a top-tier accountancy firm to appoint a Personal Tax Senior Manager into their expanding Edinburgh office.

This role is a fantastic opportunity for a personal tax specialist ready to step into a senior leadership position with a dynamic and forward-thinking firm that combines the agility of a regional office with the resources of a national network.

The Opportunity

You will lead a varied portfolio of clients including HNWIs, business owners, partnerships, and landed estates. As part of a growing tax team, you will take ownership of client relationships, oversee compliance and advisory work, and play a visible leadership role within the office.

What You'll Be Doing
  • Managing a portfolio of personal tax clients, including compliance and advisory work
  • Reviewing tax returns and ensuring all filings meet current legislation
  • Supporting client queries and HMRC correspondence
  • Advising on matters such as residency, property, inheritance planning, and trusts (depending on experience)
  • Involvement in business development and growing existing client relationships
  • Mentoring and reviewing work of junior staff
  • Contributing to internal initiatives and continuous improvement
What We're Looking For
  • CTA and / or ACA / ACCA qualified (or equivalent); QBE candidates may also be considered
  • Strong personal tax compliance and advisory background within a UK accountancy firm
  • Experience managing client relationships and leading a team
  • Strong technical knowledge and commercial awareness
  • Clear communicator with excellent written and verbal skills
  • Motivated, personable, and comfortable engaging with stakeholders at all levels
