Job summary

Meraki Talent are delighted to be supporting with the appointment of a Personal Tax Senior for our Accountancy client in Glasgow.

You will manage and grow a highly commercial portfolio of clients across sectors including technology, FMCG, food & drink and contractor portfolios, reporting to senior leadership while mentoring junior staff and liaising with Partners.

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Experience of working in Practice (Accountancy firm) - Essential
• ACCA/ICAS/CTA/ATT equivalent qualification or similar

Responsibilities

• Reporting to Manager or Senior Manager with direct access to Partners within the firm
• Managing and growing a highly commercial portfolio of clients across sectors including technology, manufacturing and food & drink
• Assisting junior Assistants on Tax work and systems

The Role:

The position of Personal Tax Senior will manage and grow a highly commercial portfolio of clients covering many sectors including Agriculture, Manufacturing, Construction, Medical, technology, FMCG, food & drink amongst others with the client portfolio consisting of Private client, SME, Owner managed business, contractors etc.

You will be involved in but not restricted to the following duties:

• Reporting to Manager or Senior Manager with direct access Partners within the firm
• Managing and growing a highly commercial portfolio of clients across several sectors including technology, FMCG, food and drink etc
• Assisting junior Assistants on Tax work and system's

To be considered for this opportunity, you must have the following experience:

• Experience of working in Practice (Accountancy firm) - Essential
• Qualified Accountant – ACCA/ICAS/CTA, ATT equivalent experience
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
