Clark Wood are recruiting for a Personal Tax Senior to join an independent firm of Chartered Accountants in Alton, Hampshire.

The role involves managing a portfolio of Personal Tax and Private Clients, preparing Self Assessment returns, and advising on CGT, IHT and tax planning. It suits an experienced Personal Tax professional looking to develop advisory expertise within a supportive team.

Qualifications

• ATT / CTA qualified or studying CTA (QBE acceptable).
• Experience of Personal Tax in an accountancy practice.
• Strong knowledge of personal tax compliance and advisory.
• Good client management and communication skills.
• Ability to manage a varied portfolio and meet deadlines.

Personal Tax Senior – Alton, Hampshire £38,000 - £45,000 + Hybrid Working + Excellent Benefits

Clark Wood are recruiting for a Personal Tax Senior to join a highly regarded independent firm of Chartered Accountants in Alton, Hampshire.

This role would suit an experienced Personal Tax Senior, Tax Senior or Private Client Tax professional looking to manage a varied portfolio and develop their tax advisory experience.

The Role

• Managing a portfolio of Personal Tax and Private Clients
• Preparing and reviewing Self Assessment tax returns
• Advising on Capital Gains Tax (CGT), Inheritance Tax (IHT) and tax planning
• Dealing with HMRC correspondence and client queries
• Managing client relationships and deadlines
• Supporting Managers and Partners with tax advisory and ad hoc projects
• Assisting and mentoring junior team members

The Person

• ATT / CTA qualified, studying CTA or QBE
• Previous Personal Tax experience within accountancy practice
• Strong technical knowledge of personal tax compliance and advisory
• Good client management and communication skills
• Able to manage a varied portfolio and meet deadlines
