This role sits within the Personal Tax Hub. This team works nationally and deals with a range of clients across the UK, while it is based within the Cardiff office, it is its own independent department and separate from the other teams within the same office. The firm has transferred around 3,000 clients to this team, and the main focus is to boost the efficiency of the work undertaken for SME clients using AI and other technology.
This team has seen major investment from the firm to pioneer new methods and processes; the department has also tripled in size over the last few years leading to demand for experienced managers and senior managers to help mentor the number of graduates and seniors within the team.
The majority of the basic compliance work within this team is being automated, freeing up the team to focus on providing excellent, interactive care to their clients, meaning this would be a great role for someone who values the relationships they build with their clients.
The ideal candidate for this role is a Personal Tax Manager who has experience with complex clients and strong exposure to managing and coaching a team of junior staff.
