Job summary

AJ Chambers is seeking a Private Client Tax Manager/Director to lead a growing portfolio of private clients, trusts and estates in the UK. The role offers a highly advisory focus and close collaboration with senior leadership, embracing modern technology to enhance client service.

You will own client relationships, deliver personal tax advisory work, and play a key role in expanding the private client offering, with hybrid or remote working and clear progression toward equity partnership.

Qualifications

• Strong personal tax experience gained within practice.
• Experience managing portfolios of private clients, trusts and estates.
• Technical knowledge across personal tax, CGT, IHT and trust taxation.
• Strong client relationship and communication skills.
• Commercial mindset and interest in advisory work.
• Ambition to progress and take on greater responsibility.

Role Description

An innovative and expanding accountancy firm is embracing modern technology and closer client partnerships to deliver a more commercial, advisory‑focused service.

This is a highly relationship‑focused role offering ownership of a portfolio of private clients, trusts, estates and owner‑managed businesses.

You’ll work closely with clients on a range of personal tax matters, whilst having direct access to senior leadership and the opportunity to play a key role in the growth of the firm’s private client offering.
