Overview

TPF Recruitment is proud to be supporting a leading accountancy firm based in Horsham in their search for an Assistant Manager to join their Private Client Tax team on a 6-month fixed-term contract.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced tax professional to manage a varied portfolio of clients while supporting and developing junior team members. The firm is open to considering this position on either a full-time or part-time basis (minimum 3 days per week) and would also welcome applications from those interested in working on a self-employed basis.

Responsibilities
  • Manage a varied portfolio of personal tax clients including:
  • Directors and shareholders
  • Sole traders and partnerships
  • Individuals with complex investments including EIS and SEIS portfolios
  • Deliver high-quality tax compliance and advisory services directly to clients.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships ensuring excellent service delivery.
  • Support and mentor junior members of the team helping to develop their technical and professional skills.
  • Collaborate closely with colleagues across the firm to deliver integrated client solutions
Qualifications

We are looking for an individual who can demonstrate:

  • ATT or CTA qualification (or equivalent experience).
  • Strong technical expertise in personal tax compliance and advisory work.
  • Previous experience managing a client portfolio within practice.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • The ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
