Taxation, a well-known national accountancy firm, is expanding its Personal Tax team in Leeds and recruiting a Personal Tax Assistant Manager to manage a UK portfolio of clients including HNWIs/UHNWIs and directors.

You will handle personal tax compliance while providing planning expertise, including capital gains and inheritance tax planning. The role includes mentoring junior staff and offers a hybrid working model with three days in the office.

Qualifications

• Strong personal tax background with UK portfolio management experience.
• Experience in capital gains and inheritance tax planning.
• ATT/CTA/ACA/ACCA qualification required or in progress.

Responsabilités

• Run and manage your own personal tax compliance portfolio, dealing directly with clients and key internal and external stakeholders.
• Support client base with tax planning services including capital gains, inheritance tax planning and wider succession planning; advisory work as appropriate.
• Review and manage personal tax work of junior staff within the personal tax team.

A well-known and established national accountancy firm are looking to expand their personal tax team in Leeds, bringing in a Personal Tax Assistant Manager.
Your new role as Personal Tax Assistant Manager:
Joining a well-established personal tax team that provide services to a range of HNWIs/UHNWIs and directors you will manage your own portfolio of clients across the UK.

• Run & manage your own personal tax compliance portfolio dealing directly with clients and other key internal and external stakeholders
• You will support your client base with tax planning services including capital gains, inheritance tax planning and wider succession planning to name a few. Planning / advisory work will be assigned depending on your experience and skill set.
• Review and manage personal tax work of more junior members of staff within the personal tax team.

What will you need to be successful?

• To be successful in the role you need to come from a strong personal tax background, having previous experience managing a personal tax portfolio in the UK.
• You will need to ATT / CTA / ACA / ACCA qualified
• Tax compliance experience is important for the role with any tax planning experience or dealing with trusts/ inheritance tax a bonus
