Clark Wood - Tax Recruitment is seeking an experienced Personal Tax Senior for an established independent accountancy practice in Maidstone. You will manage a diverse portfolio of private clients, including directors, sole traders, partnerships, high-net-worth individuals and property investors, delivering timely Self Assessment work and tax planning.

Qualificações

• Experience in a personal tax role within an accountancy practice.
• Strong knowledge of UK personal tax compliance.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Organised with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple deadlines.
• Experience of corporate tax compliance would be beneficial but is not essential.

Responsabilidades

• Managing a portfolio of personal tax clients from onboarding through to completion.
• Preparing and reviewing Self Assessment tax returns.
• Advising clients on personal tax planning opportunities, including capital gains tax and inheritance tax matters.
• Handling HMRC correspondence and enquiries.
• Monitoring deadlines and ensuring all compliance work is completed accurately and on time.
• Building and maintaining strong client relationships.
• Supporting junior team members where appropriate.
• Identifying opportunities to improve processes and add value to clients.

An established and highly regarded independent accountancy practice in Maidstone is looking to recruit a Personal or Mixed Tax Senior to join its growing team.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced tax professional seeking a varied role within a friendly and supportive environment. The successful candidate will manage a diverse portfolio of private clients, including directors, sole traders, partnerships, high-net-worth individuals and property investors.

Key Responsibilities

• Managing a portfolio of personal tax clients from onboarding through to completion
• Preparing and reviewing Self Assessment tax returns
• Advising clients on personal tax planning opportunities, including capital gains tax and inheritance tax matters

About You

• Previous experience in a personal tax role within an accountancy practice
• Strong knowledge of UK personal tax compliance
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
• Organised with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple deadlines
• ATT qualified, part-qualified or qualified by experience would be advantageous
• Experience of corporate tax compliance would be beneficial but is not essential
