Job summary

ENL Legal Recruitment is seeking a Senior Defendant Personal Injury Solicitor in West Yorkshire to lead high-value defendant PI matters. The role focuses on fast-track and multi-track claims, with emphasis on Employers' Liability and Public Liability work for a varied client base.

Candidates should have 7+ years PQE, strong Civil Procedure Rules knowledge, and proven experience managing claims through to trial.

Qualifications

• Senior Defendant Personal Injury Solicitor with a minimum of 7 years' PQE.
• Experience handling fast-track and multi-track claims through to trial.
• Strong knowledge of the Civil Procedure Rules and the litigation process.

Responsibilities

• Manage a varied caseload of defendant personal injury claims from litigation through to trial.
• Handle fast-track Employers' Liability and Public Liability claims.
• Advise on multi-track and higher value claims worth up to £350,000.
• Develop and implement robust defence strategies for a diverse client base.

OVERVIEW:

• Excellent opportunity for a Senior Defendant Personal Injury Solicitor to join a well regarded commercial law firm offering complex litigation, high quality work and genuine long term career progression.
• Manage a varied caseload of defendant personal injury claims from litigation through to trial.
• Handle predominantly fast-track Employers' Liability and Public Liability claims.
• Advise on multi-track and higher value claims worth up to £350,000.
• Develop and implement robust defence strategies for an established and diverse client base.
• Work closely with clients while delivering commercially focused legal advice and exceptional client service.
• Collaborate with a growing and supportive litigation team.
• Suitable for Solicitors with a minimum of 7 years' PQE in defendant personal injury litigation.
• Proven experience managing both fast-track and multi-track claims through to trial.
• Strong knowledge of the Civil Procedure Rules and the litigation process.
• Excellent communication, IT and client relationship management skills.
• Experience handling retail sector claims would be advantageous.
