Job summary

Douglas Scott Global Recruitment is helping a Top 100 law firm in Liverpool recruit a Solicitor/Advocate or Barrister to undertake advocacy and drafting, and provide advisory support on general personal injury work including CMCs, CCMCs, directions hearings, and infant settlement hearings. The successful candidate will be a Qualified Solicitor or Barrister with experience in personal injury litigation.

Training will be provided for advocacy, and the firm supports Higher Rights progression.

Qualifications

• Experience in personal injury litigation.
• Willingness to undertake advocacy training and pursue Higher Rights.
• Ability to advise on general personal injury matters and related hearings.

Responsibilities

• Undertake advocacy and drafting in personal injury work including CMCs, CCMCs, directions hearings, and infant settlement hearings.
• Provide advisory input on personal injury cases to support the team.
• Develop specialisation in advocacy within the firm.
