Job summary

GCIL South Lanarkshire is seeking a compassionate Personal Care Assistant to support Lesley with daily living and community activities. You will provide one-to-one support, assist with personal care, meals, shopping, and accompany her to events, helping her stay independent and connected.

The role requires patience, good communication, and a willingness to drive a mobility vehicle when needed. A driver is essential, and you may need to share driving duties with Lesley.

Qualifications

• Experience in a similar role is desirable but not essential.
• Warm, caring nature with good communication skills.
• Willingness to drive a mobility vehicle when required.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-to-one support with daily living and social activities.
• Assist with personal care (showering, toileting, shaving) and meals.
• Support with household tasks (shopping, collecting prescriptions).
• Accompany Lesley to local activities and events to promote independence.
