Job description

Team of personal Care assistants required for a gentleman in Seaton Sluice £14.67 p/h - Whitley Bay - NE26

About Me

I am looking to recruit a small team of personal assistants/enablers to provide support for me in my home. The role will be to assist with personal care, meals and the ordering of shopping and medication. I have a diagnosis of Parkinson's and my home is partially adapted for this. I have all the equipment in place to enable me to move around my home, safely and with support. I am awaiting allocation of a wheelchair which, once I am confident around my mobility I'm hoping to get out and about within the local community.
I will be looking to spend some enabling time to access some of my hobbies and interests and once the team have become established and familiar with routines etc. I'm aiming to enjoy being out of my home. I enjoy music and arts and I used to cycle a lot. I enjoy watching TV, especially programs about the great outdoors. I used to produce music and my band friends visit me occasionally. I love dogs and have benefited from spending time with other people's dogs in the past and therefore would be interested in doing this again where possible. I am interested in healthy eating to maintain the healthy lifestyle that I have always followed.
