UKCIL Ltd in Stanley (DH9) is seeking a dedicated Personal Assistant to support an 11-year-old girl living at home. The role involves accompanying her to outdoor activities, parks, museums and other engaging visits, creating a positive, patient and friendly environment that meets her individual needs.
Experience with autism and BSL communication is preferred. The position offers flexibility with days and hours, with paid DBS checks and parental support for DBS costs.

Personal Assistant required to support a female aged 11 years who lives in Stanley who has autism and uses BSL as communication.
It would be preferred that the successful applicant would have some experience with autistic children in all needs as she has a delay in development and can communicate using BSL.
The main role of the worker will be to take child out to various activities.
She is a happy and active child who likes outdoor play, especially play parks and swings.
She also enjoys baking, soft play, trampolining and loves museums that she can interact with.
We are looking for someone who can provide a positive, caring environment for our daughter, most important attributes of a PA would be to be caring, patient, and friendly and be able to cater for her needs.
Also be able to assist on occasions with family day outs.
Driver with own car essential. Parent will arrange fuel costs.
Experience in dealing with children with autism/learning disability would be preferred.
The role is paid through direct payments.
6 weeks holidays extra hours may be accessed.
(Enhanced DBS will be required, employer will cover the cost)
