Overview

Personal Care Assistant for a young woman, part-time 14 hours @ £14.30/hr in YO32 - FTE - £27.9k

We are expanding our team of carers and are looking for a reliable, friendly carer for the following hours: Saturday 8:00–16:30; Sunday 9:30–15:00.

There is also the option of extra hours to cover holiday/sickness if required. Contracted hours: 14 hours @ £14.30 per hour.

You would be supporting a happy young woman with PMLD in her active social life at a 2:1 ratio. Responsibilities include personal care, moving and handling, support with eating and drinking, PEG feeds and accessing her local community, days out, etc. Carers must be physically able and willing to push a wheelchair and assist in moving and handling procedures.

Due to semi-rural location a car driver is advisable.
