Job Purpose and Work Duties

I am a 31‑year‑old male looking for a part‑time Personal Assistant to support me on a one‑to‑one basis for a maximum of 6 hours a week with various activities in and around my home.

Work Duties

• Provide companionship and stimulating conversation.
• Take me out and support me doing enjoyable activities such as walking, socialising in the community and driving out in the countryside.
• Encourage and support with domestic tasks, e.g. laundry, housework and meal preparation.
• Take me shopping.
• Establish and maintain effective communication with the employer.
• Provide driving services with a personal car.
• Work in a safe manner and highlight health and safety concerns.
• Maintain confidentiality.
• Previous experience of working with people with mental health issues is preferable.

Location

Within the employer's home and local community.

Hours and Rate of Pay

6 hours per week. Flexible hours according to weekly need, paid at £12.21 per hour. Occasional evenings or weekend hours may be discussed.
