A personal assistance service in Skegness is seeking a reliable Personal Assistant to support a young Autistic mother with daily living tasks, including homemaking, shopping, and accessing community activities. The ideal candidate will be patient, empathetic, and comfortable working around children and pets. This role offers flexible hours at a pay rate of £12.21 per hour.

About the Employer

Personal Assistant required to support a young Autistic mum with daily living, organising tasks and accessing social activities within the community. Assistance and support will also be required to help her carry out her children's care needs, although no direct involvement with the children is necessary.

About the Role

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Assist with household chores and general homemaking.
  • Support with food shopping.
  • Support the individual to look after/care for pets.
  • Support and/or prompt the individual to access sporting and leisure activities.
  • Support with managing paperwork & correspondence.

The individual's needs may vary from day to day and your tasks may reflect this. You could be required to perform other duties as reasonably required.

You have a responsibility as an employee to report all accidents to the employer immediately. You have a duty to report defects and/or hazards which may give rise to an accident. You are to ensure the safety of the individual at all times.

Due to the nature of the work for which you are applying, this post is subject to a satisfactory DBS disclosure (costs will be covered).

Transport Requirement

Car driver preferred but not essential.
