Job Opportunity: Complex Needs Learning Support Assistant

Prospero Teaching is working closely with a SEN High School that provides educational support to children with complex and moderate learning difficulties and autism. The school is located in Ashton, Tameside, easily accessible by road and public transport, with free parking on-site.

Role Responsibilities:

1. Providing tailored personal care support to children with SEN and complex needs.
2. Performing personal care tasks such as toileting, feeding, and changing.
3. Creating a safe, fun, and conducive learning environment for children and students.
4. Supporting poolside hydrotherapy sessions.

Candidate Requirements:

1. Experience supporting pupils with SEN, either voluntarily or professionally, or experience supporting individuals with complex needs in a care setting.
2. Motivated, energetic, and interested in pursuing a career in education and special needs.
3. Must hold valid training certificates for Manual Handling and Hoist use.
4. Location: Ashton (OL9)
5. Position: Complex Needs Learning Support Assistant
6. Contract Type: Temporary (Long Term)
7. Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday
