Job purpose

To support my child within the home or accessing social opportunities within the community. My child is a very lively 10-year-old girl with autism semi‑verbal (uses single words) to communicate or request for her preferred items.

Work Duties will include:

• Identify local social activities
• Motivating and encouraging them to take part and try new things
• Helping them to develop social skills
• Encouraging independence.

Other requirements

• Establishing and maintaining effective communication with the child and their parents, maintaining confidentiality.
• Always ensuring the safety of the child
