Job summary

Enable in Govanhill, Glasgow is looking for caring Personal Assistants to join the Victoria Service team. This role offers 36 hours per week across various shift patterns at £13.45 per hour.

You will provide person-centred support to help people live independently, including personal care, medication support, moving and handling, daily living tasks, appointments and community activities. No experience is required; training and development are provided.

We are looking for caring, reliable and motivated Personal Assistants to join our dedicated team in Victoria Service.

As a Personal Assistant, you will provide person-centred support, helping the people we support to live independently, achieve their personal goals and take part in the activities that matter most to them.

Support may include:

• Personal care and maintaining personal wellbeing


• Medication support where required


• Moving and handling support


• Supporting daily living tasks and household activities


• Accompanying individuals to appointments and social activities


• Promoting choice, independence and inclusion within the community


• Providing emotional support and encouragement to achieve personal outcomes

The Victoria Service is looking for enthusiastic personal assistants who can help to make a real difference to people we support. Victoria is a Mental Health Recovery service which provides 24/7 support to 13 adults. When people come to the Victoria service, they aspire to develop their daily living skills which would help them move into their own tenancy or a less supported environment.
