About This Role

I am looking for a PA to support me, I am a young energetic and excitable boy with sensory and communication difficulties. I love being outside in parks or the garden, exploring, climbing, swings and trampolines.

Every day is unique, but activities might include trip to Trampoline or inflatable park, going for walks in my chair or on an adaptive bicycle or simply spending quality time at home.

You’ll support me by taking me out to activities, supervision at home, keeping me safe and enriched, this can be a mix of evenings, weekends and holidays, all very flexible.

I also need support with all personal care (meals, nappy changing, bathing and teeth brushing) as required.

I would love to work with someone who is energetic and happy to be silly and get involved in activities and someone with a knowledge of Autism.

I live in Carluke so it’s important you’re comfortable working in this area.

Job Details

This role involves 4.5 hours per week, Saturday or Sunday with flexibility depending on what days would suit my PA and any specific trips/events booked.

Hourly Rate: £12.60

While experience with Autism is helpful, a kind, friendly, compassionate, patient person is most important.
