Job description
Overview

Hi, I’m Beth – thank you for reading my advert! I’m looking for a kind, understanding Personal Assistant to support me both at home and out in the community. You’ll be helping me live as independently as possible, with a focus on staying active, organised, and connected.

Responsibilities

Your support will include:

  • Accompanying me to medical appointments when my parents aren’t available
  • Helping with household tasks such as batch cooking, cleaning the bathroom and kitchen, hoovering, dusting, changing beds, and laundry (all materials provided)
  • Supporting me with letters or calls to agencies like my social worker
  • Helping me access local activities and exercise classes – I’m a keen runner and keen to get back into it!
  • Accompanying me to the supermarket or other errands
About You

You’ll ideally have some experience supporting people with epilepsy and mental health difficulties, and I can provide specific training on how to respond to my rare neurological episodes.

I’d love to work with someone who shares my love of art and creativity, and who’s happy in a friendly, relaxed, pet-free and non-smoking environment.

A vehicle with business insurance is essential.

I’ve just turned 40, so I’d enjoy working with someone of a similar age who’s reliable, positive and down to earth.

If you’re compassionate, patient, and think you’d be a great match, I’d love to hear from you!
