Job summary

Kingston Centre For Independent Living seeks an experienced Personal Assistant to support a lively 16-year-old girl in New Malden. The role includes community outings and home-based help, ensuring a safe, structured and positive environment.

The caregiver should be patient, confident and resilient, able to stay calm under pressure with a good sense of humour. 3–4 hours per week shifts, weekends or after school, with potential for additional hours.

Qualifications

• Experience as PA/Support Worker.
• Experience caring for a teenager.
• Availability for weekends or after school hours.

Responsibilities

• Provide community-based and home-based support for a 16-year-old girl.
• Accompany her on outings to parks, playgrounds, and other activities.
• Supervise at home during meals and activities.
• Assist with personal care as required.
• Maintain clear, consistent boundaries in a calm and encouraging way.
