Position Title: Personal Assistant/Support Worker

Location: Wrington, North Somerset

Hourly Rate: £14.50

Hours Per Week: PT with the option of moving to full time following a successful induction

About The Role

He is a young man with autism and epilepsy living in his own home and enjoying life with the right support. We are looking for caring and reliable Support Workers to join our existing team.

We will help him live as independently and fully as possible, whether that’s at home or out in the community.

This is a rewarding and varied role where you’ll make a real difference every day by supporting him with personal care, meal preparation, emotional support, arts and crafts, music, and outings.

He needs support around the clock, including evenings, weekends, and nights.

We’re looking for someone who can bring enthusiasm, positivity, and creativity to his day, and who balances kindness and fun with professionalism.

  • Clear, consistent, and confident in following established routines, boundaries, and care plans
  • Reliable and trustworthy, committed to promoting dignity, respect, and independence
  • Interest in music and enthusiasm for bringing joy and creativity into everyday life
Skills And Experience
  • Experience supporting individuals with autism or complex health needs (paid or unpaid)
  • Ability to recognise and respond to signs of anxiety or behavioural changes
  • Confidence in assisting with personal care
  • Good communication skills, able to build positive relationships, listen attentively, and provide reassurance
  • Ability to work calmly under pressure
  • UK driving licence
