Qualifications

• Experience working with children with special needs preferred.
• Must be a non-smoker.
• PVG Scheme Membership required.

Overview

Personal Care Assistant: Fun, caring, reliable person required to support an 11 year old boy with Down Syndrome and autism, who communicates non-verbally, living in the Bearsden area.

Responsibilities

• Provide dedicated time focused on play and social interaction to support development.
• Assist to access community and social activities.
• Support with personal care and feeding as required.

Details

8 hours per week, and 14 hours per week during the school holidays. Monday to Friday 3.30 - 5.30 pm with some flexibility.

Compensation

£15.00 per hour

• Swimmer preferred
• Car driver required
• Non Smoker Essential
