Overview

Personal Assistant- Rossendale area – LILS/EM/LD

We are looking for a reliable, caring individual who has great people skills to become a personal assistant for a young man in Rossendale. The role is to support a young man with personal care needs and to be able to access the community safely. Our client is very energetic and loves to go for walks. He also enjoys horse riding, swimming and rock climbing.

Responsibilities

• Personal care – including showering.
• Support with taking medication (on occasion).
• Ensuring our client is safe when out in the community.
• Preparing meals (on occasion).

Qualifications

• Experience of supporting individuals who have autism/ADHD is desirable along with knowledge and awareness of epilepsy.

Details

Hours available – 10 per week.

Hourly rate - £13.50

There is a requirement to work flexibly.

Car driver is essential. (including proof of business cover)
