I am looking for one or two reliable, friendly and caring Personal Assistants (PAs) to join my small care team and support me with daily living tasks. I am a 52-year-old man who lives with my family. I enjoy shopping, watching sport on TV, have a passion for real ale, and support Bristol City Football Club. I’m looking for both support with personal care and companionship to access the community and enjoy social activities. A person-centred approach, good sense of humour, and passion for disability rights are essential.

About the Role

• Washing and dressing
• Toileting support

• Domestic tasks (laundry, cleaning, shopping)

Essential Criteria

• Hold a full UK driving licence (you will be expected to drive my accessible vehicle – training provided, insurance covered)
• Be dependable, caring and respectful
• Be comfortable providing personal care
• Be a non-smoker (no vaping)
• Be up to date with COVID-19 vaccinations
• Be willing to obtain a DBS check
• Previous care experience is helpful but not essential – training can be provided.

Hours & Pay

• Day shifts: 17 hours per week (days/times to be agreed) – £12.40/hour
• Night shifts: 4 nights per week (Mon–Thurs, 10pm–6am) – £97.68 per shift

All positions are paid through PAYE (not cash in hand) and include pro-rata holiday entitlement and mileage allowance.
