Job summary

We are seeking a caring and reliable Personal Assistant based in Blakelaw, Newcastle upon Tyne, to support Romeo, an active 6-year-old boy. The role involves personal care and assisting him with communication, while accompanying him to various activities.

The ideal candidate will have experience with neurodiversity, patience, and confidence in supporting non-verbal communication. The flexible position offers £14.50 per hour, and a full UK driving licence is essential.

Romeo is non‑verbal and communicates using symbols, pointing, and a communication board. He enjoys attending activities such as the Alan Shearer Centre, rebound therapy, and using technology.

Role includes:

• Personal care support
• Supporting communication
• Accompanying to activities and outings
• Creating fun, safe experiences

We are looking for someone who:

• Has experience with neurodiversity
• Is patient, calm, and energetic
• Is confident supporting non‑verbal communication
• Holds a full UK driving licence.
