We are looking for a caring and reliable Personal Assistant to support an 11-year-old boy with developmental delay and limited motor skills. This is a Up to 16 hours per week (flexible) including after school, weekends, and holidays.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the child with physical activities (walking, running, swimming, park play)
• Assist with therapy exercises and daily routines
• Encourage independence, confidence, and social skills
• Ensure safety and supervision at all times
• Communicate and report progress to parents

Requirements

• Patience, reliability, and good communication skills
• Enhanced DBS check and right to work in the UK
• Experience with children with developmental delay/SEN is desirable

Duties include

• Personal grooming
• Eating and drinking assistance
• Moving and handling
• Clinical tasks
• Other relevant duties as required
• Dressing / undressing
• Bathroom assistance
