Job Description
  • Manage diaries, schedule meetings, and organise appointments for senior team members.
  • Prepare and distribute meeting agendas, minutes, and other legal documentation.
  • Coordinate travel arrangements and logistics for team members as required.
  • Handle confidential information with discretion and maintain records accurately.
  • Act as the first point of contact for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Organise events of varying scales (remotely and in person)
  • Assist with recruitment, including organising recruitment interview timetables for a variety of recruitment campaigns and have responsibility for organising the on boarding of staff within the teams.
  • Raise Purchase Orders where necessary and ensure that invoices are authorised efficiently and logged correctly by assisting/maintaining the Litigation invoice database.
  • Assist with the preparation of reports and presentations for legal projects.
  • Monitor and manage email correspondence on behalf of senior staff.
  • Ensure compliance with organisational policies and procedures.
The Successful Applicant

A successful Personal Assistant - Legal should have:

  • Previous experience in a similar secretarial or administrative role within the public sector.
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Strong experience in the handling and disclosure of sensitive information in line with GDPR and data handling policies.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint and experience of raising Purchase Orders.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • The ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism.
  • A proactive and resourceful approach to problem-solving and task management.
  • Familiarity with legal terminology and documentation would be advantageous.
