Overview

PERSONAL ASSISTANT. Caring, reliable person required to support a 15 year old young adult/girl living in the Milngavie area with complex needs. To accompany to social and recreational activities, at the park and swimming. Suggesting, initiating and organising suitable leisure opportunities/hobbies or new experiences, in consultation with parents.

Responsibilities
  • Accompany the young person to social and recreational activities, including at the park and swimming.
  • Suggest, initiate and organise suitable leisure opportunities, hobbies, or new experiences.
  • Coordinate with parents to plan activities and routines.
Details

Hours: 6 hours per week (preferably Saturday or Sunday afternoon; possibly evenings; must be flexible). Plus an additional 4 hours per week for 13 weeks of school holidays. Days and times can be discussed at interview.

Rate: £14.20 per hour.

Essential Qualifications
  • Must be an animal lover who likes dogs.
  • Must be able to swim.
Preferred / Additional Requirements
  • Driver with a clean license and own vehicle preferred.
  • PVG Scheme Membership or Scheme Update required by successful applicant.
