Overview

Personal Assistant, Lambley Nottingham. Weekly Salary: £2,170.56 pw. Reference: NOTDL2710. This position is supporting a male in the Lambley area of Nottingham.

Responsibilities
  • Support a male wheelchair user with a spinal cord injury in his own home near Nottingham.
  • Live-in role on a rotation of 14 days on and 14 days off. There may be times when you can go home for a break and be on call if you live close by.
  • Provide personal care, household tasks, food and drinks preparation, and support with day-to-day lifestyle.
  • Assist with lifting, handling, pushing and bending as required.
Qualifications and requirements
  • Positive, caring, able to use own initiative and learn routines quickly.
  • Experience of care work is beneficial but full training will be given.
  • You will need to be a confident, competent automatic vehicle driver to drive an adapted vehicle on a daily basis.
  • Non-smoker.
Working hours and contract

Permanent contract. Working hours approximately 14 days on and 14 days off (this will vary slightly to fit in with other team members and holidays).
