Job summary

Enable Scotland in Shawlands, Glasgow is looking for Personal Assistants (Support Workers) to help individuals achieve their goals. The role involves personal care, moving and handling, and fostering social connections in a award-winning social care charity.

Shifts include Mon-Fri 9am-6pm or 10am-4pm on weekends; part or full-time hours considered. The rate is £13.45 per hour for this role, with female support only restrictions noted.

We support three ladies in the Shawlands area of Glasgow. The ladies live in their own homes and receive support 7 days a week. They love getting out and meeting new peopke. A typical day could be going to the shops to ensure they have all the essentials they need, or even just to have a wander around their local community. In their downtime, they enjoy watching movies and just having a general blether with friends. Sadly, it’s not always possible for the ladies to enjoy what many people would consider these ‘simple pleasures’ without proper, dedicated support.
