Personal assistant required – Haslingden area – LILS/EM/MA

Job Title: Personal Assistant

Location: Haslingden

Hours: 5 hours per week (flexible, including some weekends and occasional evenings)

Pay: £12.21 per hour

We are looking for a caring and reliable Personal Assistant to support a young 5 year old child with autism in the Haslingden area. The role involves providing safe and engaging support out in the community.

Key responsibilities
  • Supporting the child to access community activities safely (e.g., swimming, soft play, parks, walks – with the use of a harness).
  • Helping the child stay active, engaged, and busy.
  • Supporting with personal care, including nappy changing, feeding, dressing and undressing, and toileting.
  • Driving the child to activities (a full driving licence and access to a vehicle is essential).
  • Being flexible with hours, including some weekends and occasional evenings for family events.
About you
  • You do not need previous experience in a similar role – training and guidance will be provided.
  • You should be patient, energetic, and able to support a very active child.
  • A strong focus on safety is essential.
