Job description

I’m a friendly, chatty 54-year-old female living in Galashiels with my family, I have osteoarthritis in both knees and need a PA to help me when I’m struggling with my mobility, I have good days and bad days and need support with getting up in the morning and showering at teatime. I’m looking for alternate weekends and cover when my other PA is off. Hours are flexible and can be to suit.

The Role

Working alternate Saturday and Sunday & Relief Cover when needed.

Mornings– (not too early) for 30 minutes to get me up out of bed and support me into the bathroom to get washed and dressed. Prepare breakfast if I’m unable to and leave a light lunch out for me.

Teatime – (flexible) for 45 minutes to support me into the shower, when I’m in the shower prepare my teatime meal if I’m unable to manage. Help me out the shower with equipment available, dry, apply creams and help me into my bedtime clothes.

You will be PVG registered and whilst previous experience is preferred it’s not essential.

The Terms

Hourly rate: £13.20

Holidays: 5.6 weeks annual leave on a pro rata basis

Mileage: Negotiable
