A social care charity is looking for dedicated individuals to support a person with learning disabilities in Barrhead. The role involves assisting with daily living tasks, promoting social connections, and ensuring well-being. Ben lives in his own home and receives support with most aspects of daily living. He is very active, enjoys nature walks, splashes in puddles, trampolining, going to the gym and cycling. A typical day could include supporting Ben with personal tasks within his home, maintaining his house and garden, going for a walk in the countryside or a leisure drive. Ben is non-verbal and relies on visual aids to communicate his needs and wishes. He values structure and routine, and a calm team that shares his interests; humor is appreciated.
Ben also spends time with his family, who he is very close to.
