Personal Assistant Required I am looking to recruit a female Direct Payment Personal Assistant for my 8‑year‑old daughter.

Hours wanted: 5 hours per week during term time and 9 hours per week during the holidays. Specific days and timings to be discussed.
More about the young person: This person is a delightful, articulate and sociable young lady who suffers from cerebral palsy, some visual impairment, epilepsy, infantile spasms, infantile strabismus and hypertropia. She attends mainstream school and moves around using her crutches, walking frame, wheelchair or crawling.

Support Required: This person needs support with accessing SDR therapy once a month (some weekends) and with accessing activities of interest in her local community, including swimming.

Experience and Skills: Experience working with children with disabilities or additional needs is essential. Patience, empathy, and a supportive approach are key.

Other Requirements: Must be able to travel to and from activities, hold a driving licence and have access to a vehicle. Ideally local to the Portishead/Nailsea area.
