Overview

Two personal assistants are required to support 13-year-old and 15-year-old sisters living in Bodmin.

Responsibilities
  • Provide 1:1 support for each young person, build positive relationships, and help them to build confidence and self-esteem.
  • Support the 13-year-old with activities she enjoys (music, makeup, social media) and help develop trust and independence.
  • Support the 15-year-old with life skills development, confidence-building, and activities she enjoys (gaming; possible swimming and horse riding).
  • Enable the young people to enjoy activities at home and in the local community.
Requirements and Preferences
  • Some knowledge or personal experience of working with young people is essential.
  • Driver is essential; for the 15-year-old, willing to drive a WAV; full driving licence desirable.
Details

Up to 8 hours per fortnight for each role; flexible. Some weekend and school holiday availability will be required.

Rate of pay: £12.60 per hour.
