Overview

Personal Assistant

Reference: DP5427

Location: Shoreham-by-Sea

Employment status: employed

Hours per week: 8am - 1pm, various days available; slight flexibility on start time

Hourly pay rate: £14.40

Notes: This role is to support a man with morning care needs. Training will be provided for every aspect of the routine. All training required by law or for this condition is free.

Responsibilities

• Medication prompting/administering
• Personal grooming
• Eating and drinking assistance
• Housekeeping
• Washing and dressing on an adaptable bed
• Catheter care and stoma care (training can be provided)
• Lifting the folding wheelchair in/out of car (only when early appointments for hospital/Doctors are required)

The role may be engaged directly or employed by the individual employer and not by Independent Lives. The role may be offered on an employed or self-employed basis, depending on suitability and agreement with the employer.
