Job description

We are looking for a Personal Assistant to support our seventeen-year-old daughter who lives with us along with her brother.

Our daughter has a diagnosis of ASD, a severe learning disability, and experiences sensory difficulties. Her communication is limited, so providing short, clear instructions works best for her. We seek a reliable Personal Assistant to support her in engaging in activities she enjoys. The ideal candidate will have experience working with autistic children or youths.

We are looking for a trustworthy, kind individual who can support our daughter to visit the fair, beach, park days out, and enjoy picnics if weather permits. She also enjoys swimming, craft activities, bowling, and visiting shops. Our daughter benefits from spending time with energetic, compassionate, and flexible thinkers, as her visit plans can change on the day at her request.

Responsibilities include:

• Providing support and care tailored to her needs
• Driving (must have a driving licence and ideally a car)
