A care assistance provider in Uckfield is seeking a Personal Assistant to support a 17-year-old with autism and severe learning disabilities. The role involves helping with daily routines and ensuring constant supervision and companionship. Ideal candidates will possess strong interpersonal skills, patience, and a commitment to maintaining confidentiality. This position may be offered on an employed or self-employed basis.
We are looking for a PA to look after our lovely daughter. She is 17, autistic with ADHD and severe learning disabilities. She is a very vulnerable child with no appreciation of danger from people, vehicles etc. She needs constant adult supervision at all times outside of her home or school. She is a happy child most of the times and someone who needs her own space when she feels a bit agitated. She loves to be in the company of adults. She is recently finding her transition from school to home more challenging and needs lot of time to help with this. We are looking for someone who could help her with transition from the taxi back from school to our house and help her settle down for couple of hours every school day. Her mum will be there at house as well and we are looking for a person who could look after our daughter whilst mum is attending to her younger sibling.
