Personal Assistant Position – Clifton area. LILS/EM/EB

A little about me:

I am a 5 year old, non-verbal boy with autism and down syndrome living in Clifton. I have lots of energy and love exploring the world around me. I am very independent, happy and sometimes quite cheeky. I am sensory driven and like to play with items such as sticks and scarves. I like to explore indoors or outdoors and would need constant supervision.

Role:

The role is to provide after school support at home during term times from approximately 3.10pm – 5.10pm, 3 days per week (more if required and days are flexible). This would include feeding, changing of nappies if required and general supervision.

During school holidays, there would be 10-15 hours available to provide cover. Days and times can be discussed and arranged in advance and are quite flexible. It would be at home and in the community during school holidays (parks, walks etc.).

Requirements:

• Experience working with SEN children
• Caring personality
• Driving licence and own vehicle essential to travel to and from the home and to get him around during holidays
• DBS check will need to be completed prior to hiring
• Must be reliable and flexible

Salary:

£12.50 - £13.00 per hour
