Havant, Hampshire

Are you kind, reliable and looking for a rewarding role where you can really make a difference to someone’s everyday life?

I’m a friendly, professional woman with a physical disability, and I’m looking for an enthusiastic Female Personal Assistant/Carer to join my small, supportive team. This role will help me stay independent in my own home — which I share with my lovely dog.

Responsibilities
  • Helping with personal care (female applicants only, due to the nature of the role)
  • Preparing simple meals
  • Light household cleaning
  • Coming with me to appointments or on shopping trips
  • Helping to push my manual wheelchair on dog walks
  • Occasionally covering extra shifts if someone is on holiday or off
About you / Qualifications

  • Fluent in written and spoken English
  • Willing to learn my specific routines and needs
  • Comfortable working on your own
  • Well-presented and a non-smoker
  • Legally able to work in the UK

Previous care experience is great, but not essential — I’m happy to show the right person what’s needed.

Hours
  • Monday: 07:00–08:00 & 17:30–19:00
  • Tuesday: 07:00–08:00
  • Wednesday: 07:00–08:00 & 17:30–18:30
  • Thursday: 07:00–08:00 & 17:30–19:00
  • Saturday: 08:00–09:30

There may be extra hours available to cover holidays or appointments. I plan my rota six weeks ahead, so you’ll always know in good time when you’re needed.

Please note:

Because of the personal nature of some tasks, this job is open to female applicants only, in line with the Equality Act 2010 (Occupational Requirement Exemption).
