Qualifications

  • Educated to GCSE grade A‑C or equivalent in English and Maths.
  • Experience in a Billing or Customer Contact setting.
  • Experience in using Microsoft Excel.
  • Clear and concise communicator.
  • Customer Awareness including geographical appreciation.

Responsibilities

  • Obtain wholesale feedback and ensure system updates are completed.
  • Liaise with multiple Wholesale Service Desks for administrative requirements.
  • Maximise the number of meter reads received through planning and reporting.
  • Investigate accounts without meter readings and coordinate collection.
  • Resolve issues from incorrect meter readings promptly.

Skills

About the Role

As our Wholesale & Metering Administrator, you will improve our customers’ meter reading and wholesale experience. Reporting into the Wholesale and Metering Team Leader, you will ensure our systems are up to date and provide feedback and resolution to our customers.

Responsibilities
  • Obtain wholesale feedback, ensuring updates to our systems are completed and providing feedback and resolution to our customers.
  • Liaise with multiple Wholesale Service Desks for all administrative requirements and changes to ensure accounts are billed accurately.
  • Maximise the number of meter reads received through planning, analysis and reporting.
  • Investigate accounts without meter readings and coordinate with internal and external parties to ensure readings are collected.
  • Resolve any issues that may arise from incorrect meter readings in a timely and effective manner and liaise with meter read contractors, the billing team and other internal stakeholders to resolve meter reading queries.
What We’re Looking For
