Job summary

A recruitment agency is seeking a dedicated Personal Assistant and Office Manager to provide high-level support to two senior directors in Shifnal. The ideal candidate will have over 3 years of experience as a personal assistant, excellent IT and Excel skills, and thrive in a fast-paced environment. This is an on-site position, with a salary of £35,000 per annum and offers a fantastic opportunity to contribute to a rewarding workspace.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience as a personal assistant to a high-level individual.
  • Experience in a busy administrative environment is desirable.
  • Must be able to communicate with stakeholders at all levels.

Personal Assistant and Office Manager

Shifnal - Office based (Mon-Fri) 35,000 p/a

Bell Cornwall are delighted to be working with an ambitious, proud property and land management organisation based in the Shifnal area. They are looking for a hard‑working, well‑rounded Personal Assistant and Office Manager to support two senior directors within the business.

Duties and responsibilities
  • Provide high‑level administrative support directly to both directors, including complex diary management, travel arrangements, meeting preparation and minute‑taking.
  • Handle a high volume of day‑to‑day administrative tasks including regular updating of the property management system, filing, processing expenses, drafting correspondence etc.
  • Maintain a task list for both individuals, being proactive in follow‑ups and aware of stringent deadlines.
  • Office management aspect of the role ensures the smooth running of the office—from ensuring the coffee machine and printer ink work to maintaining health and safety certifications around fire and smoke alarms.
  • Ad‑hoc, basic HR duties such as entering holiday requests into the system and supporting with payroll.
Requirements
  • 3+ years of experience as a personal assistant to a high‑level individual (essential).
  • Other administrative experience desirable.
  • Proactive, motivated individual who enjoys a fast‑paced, busy environment and can communicate with stakeholders of all levels—no job too small, no challenge too big attitude.
  • Excellent IT and Excel skills required.
  • Happy in the office 5 days a week, based locally.
