Job summary

UKCIL Ltd. is seeking a compassionate Personal Assistant to support an individual in LS6, Leeds, for eight hours per week.

The role includes meal preparation, domestic care, and assistance with errands and social activities; driving is essential to get out and about in the community. The candidate should understand visual impairment, be a confident driver with a UK licence and own car, and be comfortable around pets (two dogs and three cats, including a guide dog).

Qualifications

• Experience or understanding of visual impairment
• Able to drive and have access to own car
• Comfortable around animals (2 dogs, 3 cats, including guide dog)
• Assist with reading post, decluttering, and home organization

• I would like my PA to have a understanding of visual impairment
• Get out and about in the community especially on the Saturday
• I enjoy shopping, going out to cafes, going to places of interest
• Must be a car driver
• Support me with household tasks
• Support me with meal preparation
• Support with checking expired dates on food/items
• Support with going out on errands
• Support with reading post and other items
• Support with de-cluttering
• Support me with organising things in the home, it is important that my PA will tell me when things are put away / moved something
• I have got 2 dogs and 3 cats, the PA must like animals and be happy around animals
• One of my dogs is a guide dog

May include other responsibilities to support with my needs.
